Description

The trefoil appears throughout Gothic tracery: three lobes cut into a window, carved into a doorway arch, pressed into the corner of a manuscript border. Stonemasons repeated the shape because it argued a point on its own — three equal parts, read as one continuous form.

Trefoil casts that shape in silver, four times over. Each arm curls back into its own trefoil end, oxidised deep in the folds so the recesses hold their shadow against the polished, raised edge.
